Of course, every B.A.P anniversary is as important as the other, but 6 years? It marks something special, because 6 is the very essence of what makes B.A.P who they are.

Yongguk brings to the group a leader. With his ‘deep ass whale voice’, his passion for music, his views about the world, his hope for peace, his skill with words, and his glowing pride over anything his members do, he makes B.A.P 6.

Himchan brings to the group a binding force. With his stunning aura, his rugged vocals, his care for the members, his diversified musical abilities, his inspiring self confidence, and his signature visuals, he makes B.A.P 6.

Daehyun brings to the group a rainbow, a source of hope. With his magnificent honey voice, his kitten smile, his devotion to his craft, his overflowing love for his members and babyz, his signature blend of squish and rude, and his urge to be the most extra, he makes B.A.P 6.

Youngjae brings to the group sunshine and balance. With his unique baritone texture, his wit and intelligence, his flailing hysteric laughter, his heartfelt support for his members at all times, his LOUD antics and his utterly well rounded skills, he makes B.A.P 6.

Jongup brings to the group individuality like no other. With his phenomenal dancing, his constantly improving vocal abilities, his cheekbones, his unique thought processes, his uncondicitonal acceptance of his members and his growth, he makes B.A.P 6.

Junhong brings to the group youth and wonder. With his insane rap flow, his unparalled freestyle dancing abilties, his aspirations and dreams, his admiration for his members, his passion to share his work, and his long, long self, he makes B.A.P 6.

These men have come together and created an identity, a soul, and the product of their efforts is clear for everyone to see. They’re unbreakable.

6 years of work. 6 years of improvement. 6 years of love. 6 years with B.A.P.

6 years have flew by but yet my love for them still feels just as fresh when I first fell in love with 6 best, absolute, perfect men. In 6 years a lot can happen and undoubtedly, b.a.p have proven time over time, that they are a group of strength, power, courage and passion. For a group I love wholeheartedly, and wholesomely for 6 years, there are not enough words to express my thanks and gratitude for them. For 6 years, they have stayed by my, our sides, giving us the strength and encouragement we needed to continue on; in their music, in their words, in their smiles, in their laughs, in their videos, their photos, and in everything they are. 

It’s weird how so much time can go by and yet the memories I have of them are all still so vivid as if it was just yesterday. As if just yesterday, I was in my last year of elementary moving onto high school, yet here I am finally moving onto university. For 6 years, my guardian angels watched over me, providing me the strength to fight on and bring me back to my feet and find confidence in myself. For 6 years, they have never left me and always found a way to save me in the darkest of days. For 6 years, I have been able to smile and remember what happiness feels like. For 6 years, they held my hand and never let me go. For 6 years, I have felt so much love thanks to them. For 6 years, they have become a family I love entirely. 

Here’s to another year with them, that I always will be grateful for. Congratulations b.a.p for succeeding another year together and for always creating music that has so much to offer for this world. Babyz from all over the world thank you and for all that you’ve done and we will always be here for you, just like you have been here for us.

I discovered b.a.p when I was 14, and I’m turning 20 in a few months. this is gonna sound cheesy but I’m so glad I had them during my teenage years, when the stress and pressure built up and I got my first part-time job and I was revising for my exams to get into university. when my brothers started getting married and life around me started changing too quickly for me to keep up with. when I lost a lot of friends but made new ones, and I stepped out of my comfort zone to be more active in society, and when I discovered how much I love writing. 

they were there with me when I was being an embarrassing 14-year-old and doodling their names at the back of my maths book, and when I was 17 they gave me courage to go to school when I was too scared to leave the house after the paris attacks happened. their music and their message and even their presence encourage me to be strong and confident, and I’m really grateful for that. I hope they’ll still be with me in the future.
